The Baffin Automatic is a multifunctional sit-to-stand system designed to accommodate and support complex postural needs of children. It offers unique features to allow adjustability for growth and ongoing changes in alignment and positioning.
The innovative patented “Second Spine” technology provides opportunity to customize anatomical support to accommodate or control asymmetries through the trunk and spine. Adjustable pads allow for optimal pelvic positioning. Unique thigh straps provide full support for hips and lower extremities.
The powered sit to stand mechanism allows the client to be positioned for function in both standing and seated positions with minimal risk of shear and friction throughout the full range of movement. The additional supine position allows for ease of transfers or positioning of pads and straps without stress on the caregiver or client.
The small base design is maneuverable for ease of use in private homes, schools or treatment settings.
